October 6, 2009: Enrolling in Georgia Families

Woman filling out a formIt's easy to enroll in Georgia Families. Many of you in Medicaid or PeachCare for Kids will need to do it!

Our job is to help you pick a health plan and a primary care provider. A health plan is a group of doctors, nurses, hospitals and clinics where you get health care. At Georgia Families, we have three different plans that you can choose from. A primary care provider is the person you go to for your regular checkups and basic health care.

There are four ways to enroll. Enroll in one of these ways:

  1. Call the call center and enroll over the phone at 1-888-GA-ENROLL (1-888-423-6765).
  2. Fill out an enrollment form and send it to us by mail or fax.
  3. Enroll online.
  4. Go to a community enrollment session and we will help you.
