February 15, 2010: All about the enrollment packet
If you qualify for Georgia Families, we will send you an enrollment packet in the mail. An enrollment packet is just an envelope with information in it. Open your enrollment packet as soon as it comes, and read everything in it. Here's what you will find:
You will also find a health plan chart. Read it to compare the plans available in your county. While all health plans offer the same basic services, there are small differences, including extra benefits that each plan offers.
Enrolling!
After you look over the packet, it's time to enroll. When you enroll, you are telling us (1) which health plan you choose, and (2) which main doctor you choose for each person who is listed on the enrollment form. You can enroll by filling out the enrollment form, or you can call us to enroll over the phone, or you can enroll on this website.
If you have any questions about the packet or anything in it, call our call center. We'll get you the answers quickly so you can sign up for the right plan. You can find out more about your health choices at our Facebook page and Twitter feed, too.
